The Kiwanis Club of Ooltewah-Collegedale has served the youth of Hamilton County since 1975 by holding fundraisers such as their Pancake Breakfasts, See's Candies Drive, and the “Kiwanis Fore The Kids” Golf Tournament.  Our Golf Classic is the Kiwanis Club’s largest fundraiser. It replaced our 18-year run of producing a successful 5K fundraiser. Kiwanis prides itself on using 100% of the proceeds to carry out its mission of "Improving the world one child and one community at a time".

Player support and corporate sponsorship are an integral part of the success of this tournament and more importantly, the programs and events we support throughout our community. Our primary focus is helping young children and their families in our communities.

The Kiwanis Club of Ooltewah-Collegedale Club was chartered on October 23, 1975.  In February 2009, the Kiwanis Club of Ooltewah-Collegedale became the new name for the club.  On April 16, 2009, the club became a recognized tax-exempt charity and was awarded a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status under the name Kiwanis Club Foundation of Ooltewah-Collegedale. The club has met in nine different places over the years.  In 2022 Kiwanis began meeting in Chestnut Hall at the Collegedale Commons.  On October 23, 2025, Kiwanis will celebrate 50 years of caring for children and their families in the greater Ooltewah area.

All proceeds go to the list of charities managed by the Kiwanis Club Foundation of Ooltewah-Collegedale and are distributed in full. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization.
