The golf tournament will take place at The Ooltewah Club located off Snow Hill Rd.
Under new ownership, in the last two years, over 5 million dollars has been invested in dynamic course updates, upgrades, and improvements. Some of the many changes include rerouting of the golf course, a redesign of the clubhouse with an expanded kitchen, a major pool renovation, a new short game facility, a professionally installed multi-sport/use simulator room with lounge spacing and furniture, and new top-of-the-line course maintenance equipment.
All 18 holes had their greens stripped and re-sodded with a new variety of TifEagle Bermuda grass and Zoysia was placed on all the tee boxes. And finally, a full course install of bunker capillary concrete drain systems, a completely reworked driving range, and new course directional information and signage round out almost all of the major improvements.

Derek brings 15+ years of experience in the golf business. Upon graduating from Mississippi State University, where he earned degrees in Professional Golf Management and Business Administration, Derek worked his way back toward Chattanooga, which is where he has called home for the last 5 years with his wife, daughter, and two dogs.

Originally from Acworth, Georgia, Greg enrolled in the PGA golf management program in 2014. During his time at Mississippi State, he completed internships at three prestigious clubs: The Architects Golf Club in New Jersey, Mountaintop Golf and Lake Club in North Carolina, and The Mirabel Golf Club in Arizona. Following graduation, Greg accepted an Assistant Golf Professional position at The Ledges in Huntsville, Alabama which is consistently ranked as a top three club in the state. There he gained valuable experience and knowledge in golf operations, player development, and member service.
